Recruitment of a Treasurer to Join Our Board of Directors

NOTICE TO MEMBERS

We are actively seeking a Treasurer to join our Board of Directors.
We would like to thank Marc Gagnon, Chief Administrative Officer of the Municipality of French River, for his many years of involvement on our Board.

Position Description:
This position is essential to the good governance of our association.
It is a supervisory and liaison role that requires close collaboration with our team to ensure the preparation of financial reports and audit files.
This position does not require accounting knowledge or the entry of transactions.
It does not require daily involvement; an estimated participation of about two hours per month is sufficient.

Main Responsibilities:
• Supervise the preparation of monthly financial reports.
• Act as a liaison with the team handling daily financial tasks.
• Prepare the file for the annual audit.
• Participate in Board meetings to provide financial updates and strategic advice.
